The vital mushroom Poria Cocos has always been held in high esteem in East Asia.

The natural occurrences of Poria Cocos are mainly found in eastern China. It is also found in Australia and in the southeast of the USA. It grows in the soil under pine trees, hence its German name "Kiefernschwamm". By the way, this vital mushroom is also known under the name "coconut mushroom". However, this is based more on its appearance than its taste. Its round shape and brown skin make it resemble a small coconut. In English, the Poria Cocos is called "Indian Bread", "Indian Potatoe" or "Tuckahoe".

The Poria Cocos fruit body can not be cultivated worldwide until now. On the one hand, this is due to the fact that the growth conditions of this mushroom are very different from those of other mushrooms. The fruiting body of this mushroom grows underground in nature (similar to truffles). Also, the demand for this mushroom is not that high in the world yet. It is considered one of the "exotics" among mushrooms. Accordingly, the cultivation of the fruiting body - which sometimes requires years or even decades of tedious work - has not been significantly advanced until now. This is the same species of mushroom that forms the basis of the fruiting body in the wild.

The processing to mushroom powder capsules takes place completely and exclusively in our factory in Limeshain, Germany. The mushroom is gently ground into powder with a water-cooled mill and filled into HPMC capsules.

Suggested Use:
3 x daily 1 capsule with meals with plenty of liquid.
Keep the product protected from light, closed and out of reach of small children. Protect from heat and store in a dry place. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the doctor should generally be consulted before consumption. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet.
