The vital mushroom Poria Cocos has long been highly prized in East Asia. It has traditionally been used as a tonic to enhance vitality and general well-being. It is also valued for its promotion of the harmonious flow of vital energy, especially with advancing age. In China it is called Fu Ling.
Poria Cocos occurs naturally mainly in the east of China. It also occurs in Australia and the south-east of the USA. It grows in the ground under pine trees. This vital mushroom is also known by the name of “coconut mushroom”, but this is due to its appearance rather than to its taste. Its round form and brown skin evoke a small coconut. In English, Poria Cocos is called "Indian Bread", "Indian Potato" or "Tuckahoe".
The Poria Cocos fruiting body cannot yet be cultivated anywhere in the world. On the one hand, this is because the growth conditions of this mushroom differ greatly from those of other mushrooms. The fruiting body of this mushroom grows underground in nature (similar to the truffle). There is still no great demand for the mushroom worldwide. It is considered one of the “exotic” mushrooms. For this reason, the cultivation of the fruiting body – which can require years or even decades of arduous work – has not been significantly promoted up until now. It is the same mushroom species that forms the basis of the fruiting body in wild nature. We thereby ensure that all important substances of the Poria Cocos are contained within our mushroom powder.

The cultivation and processing into mushroom powder capsules takes place entirely and exclusively on our premises in Limeshain, Germany. The mature, freshly harvested mushroom is dried immediately after harvesting, using our special careful drying process, then ground into powder carefully with a water-cooled mill and filled into HPMC capsules. There is no interim storage (e.g. cold storage). Through the immediate, quick and careful processing, we ensure that all important substances it contains are preserved and that the mushroom does not lose its natural beneficial properties for human nutrition. It may contain traces of millet.

Store the product in a closed container in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and out of the reach of children. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, a doctor should be consulted before consumption.
