GmbH, in Limeshain (Germany) cultivates organic mushrooms naturally on an organic controlled organic substrate on two parallel production routes (control number: DE-ÖKO-006): On the one hand the organic fruiting bodies are grown on an organic wooden substrate, on the other hand the organic mycelium is grown on an organic millet substrate. All substrates contain only gluten- and lactose-free organic ingredients, clear sterile water and purified air. Of course, no pesticides or similar are used.
The long way from the spore to the ripe fungu
s First, both BIO substrates are carefully sterilized to ensure that no bacteria or other fungal spores are present. Then they are spiked with the respective fungal spawn. It usually takes several weeks or months until the first small fungal heads appear. During the long ripening period, the organic wood substrate is completely covered by the fungal mycelium. The organic millet substrate is completely consumed by the fungus, so that in the end pure organic fungal mycelium remains. By the way, the mycelium is the fine network of hyphae, which, in contrast to the fungal fruiting body in nature, usually grows invisibly in the soil.
We cultivate our organic mushrooms in optimally air-conditioned halls under controlled conditions. A constant optimal temperature and humidity ensure the best ripening conditions for the mushrooms. As soon as the fruiting bodies have grown on the wooden substrate, they are harvested by hand.
From ripe mushroom to mushroom powder of the best quality
The further processing of the organic fruit bodies, which we grow exclusively for the production of mushroom powder, takes place immediately after the harvest of the ripe mushroom. The BIO mycelium from the millet substrate is also processed immediately after complete ripening. This is very important because mushrooms can lose valuable ingredients during storage. The first step is careful drying at temperatures of maximum 35 degrees Celsius. This process preserves all heat-unstable ingredients. Afterwards the dried organic fruit bodies and the dried organic mycelium are gently ground into fine powder.
In order to ensure an optimal composition of the ingredients for you, the two powders are then mixed in a certain ratio depending on the type of mushroom. We do not add any colorants, binding agents, flow agents or other additives, so that you receive 100% pure organic mushroom powder from the whole mushroom. The finished organic mushroom powder is then filled into cellulose capsules. Either pure with 100 % powder of one mushroom or for our mushroom powder mixtures with the powder of two to maximum 3 mushrooms. Finally, the capsules are filled into jars.

Thousands of ingredients
Our whole mushroom powder contains thousands of ingredients. These include glycoproteins (the most natural and effective form of polysaccharides), triterpenes, adenosines, vitamins, minerals, essential amino acids and especially the very important enzymes and many other ingredients. They all have an influence on the human organism. But the fantastic thing is that they support each other in their effect. This means that the individual valuable ingredients of the whole mushrooms work as a compound. On the one hand they stimulate certain metabolic reactions in the organism, on the other hand they inhibit certain processes. This is a sensible and balanced process that enables us to make full use of the intelligence of nature for our well-being.
Why no extracts...
Why can't extracts detoxify? Our uncontaminated organic mushrooms act as a catalyst and remove the toxins from the body. The enzymes, which are abundant in the mushroom powder of the whole mushroom, are particularly important in detoxification. Extracts, on the other hand, lack enzymes, because the enzymes are destroyed at a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius and above, which is necessary for hot water extraction. This is why extracts are no longer able to absorb harmful substances and excrete them naturally. In addition, all vitamins that are not heat-resistant, such as vitamin B1, and B12 and vitamin C, are also lost during hot water extraction. Extracts do not contain triterpenes The precious triterpenes are among the most effective ingredients of mushrooms. They are found exclusively in the fruiting body, mainly in the lamellae and spores of the mature cap. The spectrum of action of triterpenes is very broad. Among the triterpenes are molecules such as the steroids, vitamin D and the bile acids. In extracts the triterpenes are completely absent. Glycoproteins are destroyed during extraction The polysaccharides (ß-glucans) belong to the family of long-chain carbohydrates, which are composed of many individual sugars. The concentration of the polysaccharides (multiple sugars) in the fungi depends on the stage of development of the fruiting body. Their activity increases with the development and growth of the fruiting body. The fruiting body contains a higher total amount and a higher number of different polysaccharides than the mycelium alone. Glycoproteins are high molecular and complex molecules of ß-glucans (polysaccharides) and protein. The effect of the glycoprotein is higher than the effect of ß-glucans alone. During extraction, the glycoproteins are destroyed and polysaccharides remain. Their size is reduced by heating and thus the range and strength of the effect is proportionally reduced.
